Manager Steve Garvey giving advice to a player The mission of The Strike Out Lou Gehrig's Disease All-Star Tournament is to bring quality youth baseball teams together to compete at a premier baseball event while, at the same time, giving each participating player the self-esteem and satisfaction that comes from helping others.

For each strike out thrown and for every home run hit during the tournament, money will be donated towards the fight against Lou Gehrig's Disease.

2013 Natural Balance Pet Foods Strike Out Lou Gehrig's Disease Tournament welcomes all club teams, Little League, PONY, Cal Ripken League All Star Teams from throughout California and the western states. The 18U Elite division is by invitation only.

The divisions are 8U (8 teams), 10U (8 teams), 12U (8 teams), 18U (8 teams). The tournament will be played at fields throughout Thousand Oaks, California. 12U will be run with PONY rules. 10 and 8U will be played under Little League rules. 18U games will be played under high school rules. There will be a 3 game minimum for all participating teams. Registration fees are $495.00 which is 100% refundable if your All Star league team continues on during your playoff tournament.
